Frome 3rds 2- North Wilts 3rds 4Frome were keen to avenge their 4-0 defeat by this team in the first half of the season. Captain Jo Shailes was presented with a missing goalkeeper at the meeting point but Becky Eleanor gamely agreed to deputise and pulled on the protective kit. North Wilts were first to score rattling Frome's confidence but Nikki Lank soon replied for Frome with a full bodied strike to celebrate her birthday. North Wilts were keen to get ahead and despite fiercesome defending from Pat Burns and Jo Shailes they went 2-1 ahead by half time. Nikki Lank gave the side a motivational half-time pep-talk boosting Frome's confidence and Frome set off with renewed vigour. Hannah Whitcombe showed her potential with consistently winning tackles but North Wilts were able to score again. Ali Mac kept Frome's hopes alive with a storming on target shot passed by an energetic Helen Keniston to put them back in touch. Unfortunately N. Wilts manged to score again to put the game beyond the reach of Frome.
